Does your home smell inviting, yes the old bread trick, some warming spices or recently boiled coffee can really work! Finish off the ambience by displaying bright fresh flowers in vases.
C2: ‘Clean' …. Is the kitchen and bathroom gleaming? A little bleach and rubber gloves goes a long way. No dirty clothes or smelly towels and remove bins. Remember, the garden is part of your home too, so paint walls, clean sheds out, cut the grass and remove weeds. Don't forget to clean the windows. If there are pets remember their beds need washing too!
C3: ‘Clutter' …. Make your home as minimalistic as possible, which makes it look & feel bigger. Encourage cupboards to be opened by a viewer, however ensure everything is tidied away neatly. Children's toys all in one area. Don't forget the garden again, these need attention too. Tidy pots with seasonal flowers and clean the decking & patio.
Make Sure The Buyer Can Move Straight Away
Is the person buying your home 100% serious? Make sure that your buyer has their own house under offer before you take yours off the market or if they are in rented, double check the notice period.
