A Charity Menagerie For 2018
The Saunders & Lingard team have made it their mission this year to give something back to the community that they live and work in. This has resulted in a veritable menagerie of charity escapades in 2018!
SUPPORT FOR LOCAL SCHOOL
Sue, Sara and Rob know how important education is especially when this is combined with the desire for learning about the environment and how to grow your own food and flowers.
When the team heard that 'Our Lady Of The Angels' primary school in Queensway, Torquay were raising the funds to develop a children's garden, they felt they had to step up and offer a donation....they presented a cheque to Rebecca Kirby (middle in picture) - Chair of the PTA and Karen Curtis (right in picture) - PTA Volunteer, this week, to show their support in this venture.
SUPPORTING LOCAL CHARITIES
The Saunders & Lingard team just love living and working in this beautiful part of the UK and they feel that running a business within the south west community means that they have a responsibility too. So this year they are immensely proud to have started their 'Corporate Support' for Paignton Zoo.
Helping charity groups such as Paignton Zoo, Living Coasts (in Torquay), Newquay Zoo and the Whitley Wildlife Conservation Trust, helps the Saunders & Lingard team to do their bit in support of science, conservation and inspiration regarding the animals, plants and environment of our beautiful region and the planet as a whole.
The Saunders & Lingard team are also supporting the ladies captain's charity at Churston Golf Club again this year, which is in support of the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation charity.
VROOM, VROOM, VROOM!!!!
The Saunders & Lingard resident Stirling Moss, Rob Lingard, will be pushing pedal to the metal this October, in his bid to complete the 26th running of one of the oldest events in the Triumph enthusiast's calendar, the Club Triumph RBRR! And of course he will be proudly displaying the Saunders & Lingard logo on his rather delightful 1979 Triumph Spitfire 1500 alongside numerous local companies who are invited to sponsor parts of the car!
The 'Round Britain Reliability Run' will be held from Friday 5th October to Sunday 7th October 2018 and will be in aid of Epilepsy Research UK and the hope is to raise over £50,000.00 to build upon the sum of over £600,000.00 raised by previous RBRRs for UK Charities. For more information and to find out how you can sponsor Rob's car, call him on Newton Abbot 01626 240229
Refreshing and unique, Saunders & Lingard are looking forward to continuing to help their customers open the door to a better kind of estate agency in 2018
